Inclement Weather Policy
Gateway Children’s Advocacy Center follows the Rowan County School System’s Closing Schedule for inclement weather. If Rowan County Schools are closed due to winter weather, Gateway Children’s Advocacy Center will also be closed for the day. A staff member will contact you on the next available business day to reschedule your appointment. The safety of your family is our primary concern.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic precautions have been made to protect our families and our staff. Masks should be worn at all times at the center, call before entering building to ensure sanitization has been completed, temperature checks will be completed upon entrance. We ask that only one caregiver enter for each family to complete paperwork and supervise children at this time. GCAC is closed on Friday for any in person appointments so the building can be cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.
